Finally finished!
I really enjoyed the Betty Blogger Web 2.0 course and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The self directed learning was easy to follow. I wasn't able to make it in for any of the tutorial sessions, perhaps next year there could be more advanced notice of the dates and times, but if I required any assistance I know there were many helpers just a quick email away.
The most challenging part of the program was finding the time to sit and read and thoroughly learn about each application. Some of the tasks just skimmed the surface and didn't go into the full extent of the application's many uses. The Betty Blogger program is an excellent introduction course to Web 2.0 applications and the book and website references provided with each task will help with any further education. If I can find the time!
The course surpassed my expectations and I learned many new things that I would never had found out about on my own. Some applications I had never even heard of before! I would even consider taking the course again in the future because the Internet and it's many applications are constantly evolving and thus the tasks in the program will change as well.
